Brown Dust Tier List
This Brown Dust Tier List lists all the unique mercenaries of the famous strategy game.
Brown Dust is a mobile strategy RPG game that features a variety of playable characters and tactical gameplay. It’s since been rebranded as Brave Nine, but the mechanics remain the same.
When playing Brown Dust, players find themselves in a tumultuous world divided into four kingdoms: Allan, Karian, Rian, and Sbern. Across these lands are valuable allies: mercenaries. With their help, you can advance the story and uncover the secrets of this fragmented world.
Before we get into the rankings of our Brown Dust Tier List, we need to explain each of the mercenary classes. Playable characters fall into one of four categories: Warrior, Defender, Magician, and Supporter. And depending on your game mode and strategy, you’ll have to mix and match these different classes.
But with such a huge roster, it’s hard to pick out the best ones. So, for our Brown Dust Tier List, we’re listing the best mercenaries to choose for your team.

BROWN DUST TIER LIST
With a whopping 200+ mercenaries in the game, you’ll need to do a lot of planning, so you know what mercenaries you want to invest in. Luckily, our Brown Dust Tier List can help you with that! For this list, we ranked each playable character in one of five tiers: S-, A-, B-, C-, and D-Tier. Note that we only included unique characters, so no Fire Mages or Skeleton Archers.
Names that are italicized are legendary mercenaries.

BROWN DUST TIER LIST: MERCENARY CLASSES
What are the Different Classes?
All playable characters fall into one of four categories: Warrior, Defender, Magician, and Supporter. And depending on your game mode and enemy types, you’ll have to mix and match these different classes.
Warrior
Warriors are proficient at dealing a set amount of damage per second. They’re ideal frontline attackers who maintain a steady damage output.
Defender
Defenders are your tanks. Their high HP and defense stats make them great at shielding the other mercenaries in your team.
Magician
Magicians attack from afar. Their spells deal Area-of-Effect (AoE) damage, and some skills can even inflict status effects on opponents.
Supporter
Supporters either heal your team or boost their current stats. When used strategically, they can give your team the upper hand.
BROWN DUST TIER LIST: LEGENDARY MERCENARIES
Legendary mercenaries are extremely powerful playable characters that are more difficult to acquire than normal mercenaries. They play a formidable role in Brown Dust’s main story and are revered (or feared) across the kingdoms.
Conclusion
Brown Dust, now Brave Nine, is a well-structured gacha game with an intriguing plot and an engaging cast of characters. But where it really shines is its gameplay. Similar to other tactical mobile games, like Pokemon Masters EX, Brown Dust brings something new to the table with its unique battle setup. The additional mechanics make the game all the more enjoyable, pushing players to think strategically. Hopefully, our Brown Dust Tier List helped you flesh out your tactics! Remember: Though it can be tricky to get your hands on top-tier mercenaries, they’re well worth the investment.
