Legends of Runeterra Tier List

Fans of collectible card games, please rise — because in this Legends of Runeterra Tier List we will be ranking all the cool and awesome heroes in this highly addictive game.

Heavily inspired by Magic: The Gathering, Legends of Runeterra opened the doors to the world of digital collectible card games with its epic launch last year. With generous progression systems, high-quality visuals, and accessible gameplay, it’s no wonder why this game has been well-received by critics and gamers alike.

To make things even better, Legends of Runeterra provides us with an opportunity to see our favorite League of Legends heroes in an entirely different setting! For hardcore League fans like me, there is no such thing as too much LoL-related game, which is why LoR is such a welcome treat!

The release of Patch 2.13 last month and of Patch 2.11 two months ago made the game even more exciting by bringing revolutionary changes to the table. While Patch 2.13 introduced Lab of Legends: The Saltwater Scourge — game’s latest PvE experience that boasts a whole new progression-based adventure set in Bilgewater, Patch 2.11 changed up the meta in ways beyond imagination.

Not only did it introduce a new keyword: LURK, but also 43 new cards. It even released not one, not two, but THREE new champions: Ekko, Pyke, and Rek’sai. Of course, the old but gold heroes have not been forgotten with some of them getting serious buffs, adjustments, and nerfs that will make the game even more balanced.

To ensure that players who are just lurking (see what I did there) in the shadows, waiting for the opportunity to rank up do keep on going up, we are giving you an up-to-date Legends of Runeterra Tier List you can count on. Read on!

LEGENDS OF RUNETERRA TIER LIST

In this Legends of Runeterra Tier List, we will be using the good ol’ categories S, A, B, C, and D. As you may have already expected, champions belonging to S-Tier are those that will get you the final battle even with a not-so-good draft. A-Tier heroes, on the other hand, can still get you to the final battle but with a little support from either a strong archetype training or strong draft.

Characters falling under the B-Tier can still get you to the final battle, although this time you’d need luck. Champions grouped under the bottom 2 tiers, C and D, may be able to bring you to the final battle but the odds are 1 in 10 so it’s better to just steer clear of them. This tier list is made on the assumption that you will be building around the champion we’ve ranked.

Conclusion

Like most League of Legends spinoffs, Legends of Runeterra is an incredibly fun game (I may be biased here, I mean I am a diehard fan of LoL after all) that makes subjecting oneself to different kinds of mental gymnastics exciting. LoR games may be shorter than that of the actual LoL or even Teamfight Tactics, but there’s still so much a player can learn from it as it mixes strategy with quick and decisive thinking.

This impeccable card game even opens up opportunities for players to diversify their game plan and hone their unique playstyle. With strong and powerful champions that are split across seven different regions and are capable of creating earth-shattering synergies with the right teammate, there will always be a combination for you to consider and bank on. The special arena modes will even take the game to the next level by rendering some strategies useless and out of the window.

So, if you are that the kind of player who likes to carefully calculate your moves ( like me lol!), this Legends of Runeterra Tier List will surely be a great read for you. But then again, even if you are the easy-go-lucky type who enjoys creating a wacky hopefully-this-works kind-of deck, there is no harm in having even the slightest idea of who is the best champion in the current meta.
