Throughout the series, numerous characters have been introduced with a variety of strengths and abilities.

However, while strength levels have been hotly debated, we’ve done a lot of research to find out who wipes the floor with everyone else.

The 10 Strongest Naruto Characters Ranked

To create this list, we watched a lot of Naruto and compared the feats of various characters to get an idea of their level of strength.

Each character has then been ranked based on their overall strength level, and the strongest characters may surprise you!

10. Obito Uchiha

Formerly known as Tobi, Obito Uchiha is not only one of the best Naruto characters, but he stands out as one of the strongest.

This character went from being the comic relief to one of the biggest villains in the series, with even Itachi underestimating his power.

While the loss of Rin is what caused him to turn to the dark side, it’s hard to feel bad for him when he single-handedly defeated many members of the Akatsuki.

After becoming the jinchuriki host of the Ten-Tails, Obito became one of the toughest villains in the entire series and certainly one of the strongest characters.

9. Itachi Uchiha

A prodigy of the Uchiha clan, Itachi Uchiha unlocked his Sharingan at a young age and joined the Anbu black ops when he was only 11.

In battle, Itachi is able to cast incredibly powerful illusions, turn into a flock of crows, and utilize the powerful Fire Style of fighting.

Although he joined the Akatsuki group, there are reasons why he killed his clan, which makes him a bit more sympathetic.

While his younger brother, Sasuke, eventually defeated him, we can imagine his powers would have only continued growing had he not met his end.

Especially given his Mangekyo Sharingan, which gave him access to legendary moves, including his Susanoo avatar.

8. Code

The last surviving Inner of Kara and the carrier of Isshiki Ōtsutsuki’s will, Code, is a ridiculously strong character.

Capable of traveling anywhere he places his claw marks, Code can quickly move between locations.

He can also morph parts of his body into different weapons to give himself an edge in battle against stronger foes.

Once his limiters were removed, he was even able to become stronger than most, aside from the resurrected Isshiki.

Code’s power is truly monstrous, and he is one of the strongest characters in Naruto that often gets overlooked.

7. Lady Tsunade

The granddaughter of Hashirama Senju, Lady Tsunade, is regarded as the world’s strongest kunoichi.

Not only is she one of the best blonde anime girls, but her skills are considered the reason for Konoha’s victory during the Second Shinobi World War.

While she is known for her medical-nin abilities, she is also one of the most skilled practitioners of taijutsu.

She wields superhuman strength, capable of even splitting the ground with a single finger strike.

Needless to say, Tsunade is scarily powerful and definitely one of the most powerful naruto characters.

6. Kakashi Hatake

Famed as Kakashi of the Sharingan, he is one of Konoha’s most talented Ninjas and the childhood friend of Obito Uchiha.

Following the Fourth Shinobi World War, Kakashi became Konoha’s sixth Hokage, and his power is nothing to sneeze at.

A child prodigy with skills he inherited from White Fang, Kakashi demonstrated advanced skills from a young age.

He is even considered a major threat by the Akatsuki, given his access to the Kamui ability, which allows him to warp objects between dimensions.

What makes him stand out is his ability to pick up moves from other ninjas and learn them flawlessly almost immediately, earning him the title of “The Copy Ninja.”

One of the strongest users of ninjutsu in the series, Kakashi Hatake is, without a doubt, one of the most powerful Naruto characters in the series.

5. Nagato

Nagato was given Rinnegan eyes at a young age and is proficient in all five chakra natures, allowing him to spy on people using rain and project astral images.

Using the Six Paths of Pain, Nagato became so powerful he could even give some of the best Dragon Ball Z characters a run for their money.

Some of his incredible powers include being able to control people’s souls, control gravity, summon animals, and absorb chakra.

Overall, not someone to be taken lightly, especially given that he is one of the founders of Akatsuki and goes by the alias of Pain.

He was even able to kill Jiraiya, Kakashi, and several other shinobi before finally being defeated by Nuarto, though the battle was anything but easy.

It’s likely that had Naruto not been there to resist him, Nagato could have devastated the world.

4. Sasuke Uchiha

The last surviving member of the Uchiha clan, Sasuke Uchiha, is the rival and best friend of Naruto Uzumaki and one of the greatest ninjas of all time.

Although he wasn’t as fast to learn techniques as his brother Itachi, he was able to defeat and kill his older brother in combat.

By utilizing the power of Rinnegan, Sasuke is able to gain immense power that few other ninjas have ever managed, making him a force to be reckoned with in battle.

He has already proved himself to be equal in skill to the Seventh Hokage and stands out as one of the few characters to actually pose a threat to Naruto Uzumaki.

If that wasn’t enough, he also has learned to access Amenotejikara, a technique that allows him to switch places with any object.

3. Isshiki Ōtsutsuki

Isshiki was a member of the Ōtsutsuki clan and the leader of Kara, who became so powerful he could even defeat Sasuke and Naruto singlehandedly.

Using Sukunahikona, he could shrink any object or himself and then use Diakokuten to store shrunken items in a separate dimension.

If Kaguya hadn’t already wounded him, it is likely he could have killed Naruto and destroyed the world easily without even breaking a sweat.

In fact, Amado even describes his power as being so immense that he could do just that had he not been stopped.

Even with only a fraction of his power, Isshiki is still one of the strongest anime characters and one of the most powerful characters in the Naruto series.

2. Kaguya Ōtsutsuki

Kaguya was once a member of the Ōtsutsuki clan who consumed the fruit of the God Tree to become the first Chakra wielder on earth.

Widely known as the Mother of Chakra, Kaguya is considered the ultimate evil in the Naruto universe and the most formidable foe the shinobi have ever faced.

This powerful character has many god-like abilities, including the power of flight, telepathy, regeneration, dimension-hopping, and chakra absorption.

She can also create life, change environments, and merge herself with nature, something no one else is able to do.

Oh, and she can also absorb and transform into the Ten-Tailed Beast, becoming a towering monster capable of destroying the entire world.

With all of her power, Kaguya could even pose a threat to some of the best One Punch Man characters, though Saitama would probably welcome the fight.

1. Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto is a series that continues to inspire people even after two decades, and the character of Naruto Uzumaki is a large reason for that.

Even in his most basic form, he can make thousands of copies of himself, and when he reaches his peak, Baryon Mod, he can steal vitality with a touch.

While he lost this ability after his fight with Isshiki, he still has access to his Sage Mode, which lets him use his Frog Kata combat techniques.

He also has massive chakra reserves that can sustain him through three days of continuous battle against the world’s strongest foes.

His command of jutsu is noted to be so powerful that, with the combined efforts of Sasuke, he could destroy an entire continent easily.

Although he failed to graduate from the academy three times, his determination to never give up has made him the strongest character in the series.
